Workflow Project is an attempt to automate following business processes at Country Office level:

• HR Management

• MIP

• Payroll

• Pouch

• Banking

The workflow  consists from the following software modules:

HR/Contracts module includes the maintenance and processing of all HR information and related actions and is used only by the HR officer, certifying and approving officers.

MIP module has all ordinary users linked to the module, who have access only to their respective claims and limits. The certifying officer has access and screens all claims and possesses key for certification and approval. The certified claim is later transferred to GeoFoas, where vouchers are automatically prepared.

The Payroll module is linked to HR/Contracts modules and automatically calculates the salaries based on that system. Payroll is also linked to GeoFoas.

GeoFoas accumulates all certified transactions from MIP and Payroll applications, than converts this data to WinFoas database format and transfers this data directly to Winfoas leave database. In the Winfoas system transferred data appears as Approved vouchers.

Bank Task retrieves approved vouchers from WinFoas and prepared them for transferring to the Bank Client application

Key Manager is an PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) module, wich allows Certified Users to digitally sign certified data in MIP, HR/Contracts and Payroll. PGP is based on a widely accepted encryption technology known as public key cryptography in which two complementary keys, called a key pair, are used to maintain secure communications. One of the keys is designated as a private key to which only you have access and the other is a public key which you freely exchange with other PGP users. Both your private and your public keys are stored in keyring files, which are accessible from the Key Manager keys window. It is from this window that you perform all your key management functions.

The Pouch system is an independent part of the Workflow and is only used for Pouch administering. This software allows tracing of outgoing pouch to NY and Geneva. Pouch system can register all the envelopes, which are to be sent by pouch, however it has an option of displaying only selected items on the print-out valise document. The approving officer can view list of all the letters in the system and while electronically approving it will know exact information.
